CONGREGATION BETH ISRAEL
Congregation Beth Israel (CBI) was established in 1998. CBI is a
welcoming Reform Jewish community that serves individuals and families in the
Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. We are a home for spiritual awareness, education,
and growth. CBI believes in interfaith inclusion and transforming Jewish
isolation through engagement, participation, and volunteerism. Embracing the
Jewish traditions of L’Dor V’Dor (linking generation to generation) and Tikkun
Olam (repair the world) allows CBI to nurture meaningful relationships and a
profound sense of belonging.
Your support tonight will enable CBI to continue to offer life
changing programs as well as provide for significant infrastructure
improvements for our congregation.
JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES
As an integral service arm of the Jewish Federation of Fort Worth
and Tarrant County, Jewish Family Services (JFS) offers individual and family
counseling as well as support groups to the entire community. JFS also helps
coordinate a Senior Adult Lunch Program where approximately 150 hot meals
are served each week. JFS also helps member of our community who, from
time to time, may need some help to fulfill their basic needs, such as food and
shelter. Locally, JFS opened an office to offer services in Colleyville
for members of CBI and the community as a whole.
Your support tonight will help further advance these important
efforts.
